Yes, September arrives, and the kids are off to school. For Alnistar the month ahead is a mixture of tying up some loose ends with clients now that they’ve returned to work. Closing some important negotiations, and of course some more pleasurable activities including the opportunity to speak on a panel at the Guernsey Digital Assets Conference. The conference has a strong line up of speakers and being the first in Guernsey to fully focus on new technologies Alnistar leapt at the opportunity for our CEO, Nicholas Collinson, to attend and speak. The invite came through due to the role he plays on the Innovate Guernsey Board Innovate Guernsey – Driving Tomorrow’s Innovation Today, which he joined in May, and alongside representing the board at this event, he also takes an active role in the FinTech Cafe online events which is a pan European gathering of FinTech associations and leaders.
Having hosted the first ‘Blockchain Decoded’ session in August, plans are now afoot to deliver the follow up sessions where attendees can choose their path, either through a basics educational series of events or a more advanced ‘blockchain for business’ series of sessions. These will continue to be run under the Chamber of Commerce banner and we’ll post links to the sessions as they are confirmed.
The last part of the year looks like being busy and the diaries are filling up for the team!
