Two very different projects, one common thread. I was on a panel at a Bitcoin Summit this month talking about Bitcoin and stablecoins side by side — it’s a discussion that’s matured a lot even in the last year, moving past “which one wins” and into how they actually complement each other in a treasury or payments context.
Meanwhile on the banxlocal side, we’ve been deep in the unglamorous but essential work of picking the right banking-as-a-service and e-money partner — the kind of decision that doesn’t make headlines but determines whether everything downstream actually works. Branch banking sounds old-fashioned until you realise how much of the UK still needs it done properly, just with better infrastructure underneath.
Two projects, same philosophy: get the plumbing right before you talk about the vision.
