Whilst many companies slow down during the summer months, here at Alnistar we have been filling our days across a variety of activities. Several interesting blockchain concepts have presented themselves, including a tokenisation platform and a crypto social media platform. There will be more updates on these as they develop in the coming months.
On August 21st Alnistar is bringing the first in a series of breakfast meetings to Guernsey, titled ‘Blockchain Decoded’ the meetings are intended to dive into potential use cases for the technology in Guernsey business.
The event is being hosted at the Chamber of Commerce offices, and will be an informal and friendly ‘Chatham House’ style conversation.
Our CEO, Nicholas has brought the idea forward having spoken to many businesses across the island over the past years and realised that there still exists a certain mystery as to what blockchain might be able to do, typically people think of its place in terms of speeding up payments, but there are real opportunities to innovate and build the next generation of finance and financial services, reporting and compliance.
